Isicelo:

1. Izintambo ze-OPGW ezibonakalayo zisetshenziswa kakhulu emigqeni yezinga le-voltage engu-110KV, 220KV, 550KV, futhi zisetshenziswa kakhulu emigqeni esanda kwakhiwa ngenxa yezici ezifana nokuphela kukagesi kanye nokuphepha.
2. Imigqa ene-voltage ephezulu edlula i-110kv inobubanzi obukhulu (ngokuvamile ngaphezu kwama-250M).
3. Kulula ukuyinakekela, kulula ukuyixazulula inkinga yokuwela umugqa, futhi izici zayo zemishini zingahlangabezana nomugqa wokuwela omkhulu;
4. Ingqimba yangaphandle ye-OPGW iyisivikelo sensimbi, esingathinti ukugqwala nokuwohloka kukagesi okunamandla aphezulu.
